Celine Dion

Last week I had the opportunity to join a group of girls (thanks Adrianne!) and go to the Celine Dion concert. Needless to say it ROCKED!!! Celine is simply amazing. Considering I can't sing a lick (good thing God doesn't care how I sound in Church) someone with her voice just blows me away. Included in this post are a few pics of the concert. The one with the candles is when she was singing My Heart Will Go On from the movie Titanic.

Boerne Greyhounds!!!

Go Sissybelle Go!!!

Last night the Boerne Greyhounds (aka Mallory's 7th grade basketball team) defeated the Kerrville Spikes. Sharp Shooter Williams had her first ever, and I think the team's first ever 3 pointer in a game. Nothing but net! Above are a few pictures, hope you enjoy.

For those of you who don't know Auntie (my Mom's sister) is standing by me and Grandessa (our Grandmother) is standing by Mallory. Auntie and Grandessa came down for the weekend and were able to stay for Mallory's game.

New Year's Eve

We had a great time ringing in the New Year with our old friends Steve and Scarlett. For dinner we met at J. Alexander's then went to a Roger Creager concert at Cowboys. We have moved up from college days because we paid to have a "VIP" seat. Too funny...anyway enjoy the pics! We hope everyone had a great start to the New Year.

P.S. Pics are a little blurry because they were taken with my camera phone...

Fly Fishing the Guadalupe

I had a site meeting for the Lance Armstrong Foundation project in Austin on Tuesday and decided to stop and do a little Fly Casting on my way back home. Beautiful day, clear skies, clearer water, low 70's, and a lot of peace and quiet. Let's just say I got a lot of casting practice in - but the guy in the lower picture caught a nice 16" rainbow.
.
For those who don't know - The Gudalupe river is the only river in the state of Texas that is stocked with trout. The reason is that canyon lake has an extremely tall dam that allows for extremely deep water in the lake at the base of the dam - the result is extremely cold water at the release point capable of sustaining a small trout population.

Garner Weekend

This past weekend we took Chase swimming at Garner State Park. Since it was a little chilly he was the only one who got in the water. A few weeks ago we went hiking at a State Park in San Antonio and renewed our parks pass. We intend to visit the parks often this summer!

Our Family Blog

Hello Everyone~
We have started this blog so that everyone in our life can keep up with all we have going on. Add the website to your favorites and check back often. The goal is to update our website often with stories and pictures.

To Catch you up:
As you all know our house is on the market....still! I tell 'ya, selling a house can teach you patience. We have had a lot of lookers but no offers as of yet. Our current plan is to sell this house and either find another renovation project or build. Ryan and I would both LOVE to build however finding a lot is a little tough. We would really like to stay in the Alamo Heights area so who knows.

Ryan took arch. test #9 last week, hopefully it will be his last. We will have a big celebration once he gets his license!

Hope you all enjoy checking in on us often : )
