William Crew Jones

We welcomed our baby boy into the world on July 30th at 1:03 pm. He weighed 8 pounds 14 oz and was 20.5 inches long. He is absolutely perfect. He surprised Ryan when he was born with a full head of dark hair like his Momma. We all had ideas on his weight and Ryan guessed it perfect, he said 8.14 and I said 9.2. Baby boy also surprised us because he was breech which we did not previously know. He was born at 39 weeks which surprised me because I thought he would come early. At the end of pregnancy I had problems with stomach viruses and was in the hospital twice with contractions. Thankfully he decided to stay and cook a little longer. He is named after my Dad and PawPaw who's first names were William. Crew means "from the castle or fortress by the water." Ryan mentioned it as a possible name months ago and we always liked it. It is original and with a last name like Jones it's helps to be original :). We narrowed it down to about three names and waited to see what baby boy looked like. Crew seemed to fit and so that was chosen. He is doing great so far and big sister is so excited about his arrival. We feel very blessed as a healthy happy family of four.
