Happy Easter

I took Ava to a clothing boutique here in town and had her picture made with a few bunnies. We had the BEST time! At the beginning of the photo session the bunnies just sat still which was good. All of the sudden Ava picked up a bunny and started swinging him around! I about had a heart attack! I could not believe she could even pick one up much less swing him back and forth. Not to worry, the bunny was okay. After that incident Ava was much more interested in the bunnies than smiling for the camera. It is a memory I will surely never forget : )

Zoo

A few weekends ago we took Ava to the zoo for her first visit. She especially loved the aquarium and watching the fish swim. Thankfully the zoo is about 10 minutes from our house so we bought a family pass and plan to go lots this spring.

Sorry these pictures are a little blurry, she is just constantly wiggling.  Today our baby girl turns 6 months old.  It is hard to imagine she has been here already half a year!  Before her afternoon nap she rolled over...all on her own! I got the camera out to see if she would do it again but she wouldn't.  She was laying on her belly doing some tummy time and I scooted over closer to her so she could push her feet against my leg.  All the sudden she pushed against my leg and over she went!  Amazing : )

Sissy's sports banquet

Last week we went to Mallory's basketball awards ceremony.  We are so proud of sissy playing on Varsity and also being awarded All Academic for the Basketball team.  In the picture above Ava was too distracted by everyone walking by.

Happy Birthday PawPaw!

Last week Dad and Delia were able to come down and visit.  It was Dad's (aka PawPaw) birthday so we celebrated with a cake.  I forgot to take a picture until after we cut the cake, oh well : )

They were able to go with us to music time at the library which was lots of fun.  Ava got so worn out at music time watching the other kids that she fell asleep right in the middle of it.
