32nd Birthday and 32 weeks!

Yesterday was my birthday and I truly enjoyed it being pregnant! Sunday I will be 32 weeks so we've got about 8 weeks to go. Can't wait to meet this little girl : )

San Antonio Shower

This weekend my girlfriends hosted a shower for us...it was so fun!!! Girls from the left, Kimberly, Adrianne, me, Lauren and Scarlett. Lauren is 4 weeks ahead of us and is also having a baby girl : )

30 week checkup

Ryan is in College Station today for a work meeting and found this at a local shop, had to get it! She will be ready to watch and cheer on the Aggies with her Daddy this season : )

Tuesday we had our 30 week doctor's visit. Everything went very well...

Baby girl Jones is measuring right on track and growing very quickly! During the last trimester our baby puts on the most weight because she is fattening up and getting ready to meet everyone.

We have also started parenting classes and are really enjoying those.

This Saturday we will be having our San Antonio shower. I can hardly wait!!! So ready to catch up with my girlfriends and get to visit with everyone.

I have finally ordered a rug for the nursery and it should be here on Monday. I have a tendency to shop and shop, look and look until I find just the right thing. Still on the hunt for a lamp and bookshelf but feel we are making progress.

Athens Shower

New Kitchen tile

This weekend we are headed to Athens for our first Baby Shower! I can hardly wait to see everyone and catch up. Picture above is what I plan on giving as hostess gifts. Mom monogrammed cups for all the hostesses and then they can choose either tea or coffee to go along with their travel cup.

Last weekend Ryan finished our kitchen backsplash tile. I love it! The final touches on the house are really coming together. Our plumber Paul still has to come install the pot filler but I had fresh sunflowers and thought I would take a picture.

Ryan was glad to lay the last tile he will ever lay in this house, needless to say I think he is over tile.

27 weeks and random pics...

Last week we went to dinner at our friends Mike and Julie's house. I decided to make a from scratch pound cake with berries. It was yummy!

Poor Chase, someone needs to play with him and his bird Chester...by the way he is weighing in at 109 pounds. EEK! I think he is gaining sympathy weight.

Here I am at 27 weeks. Feeling great and life is good! My belly has started to get places sooner than me these days...

New blinds for the living room

Well, even though we don't like blinds or window treatments we had to get something for the living/desk area. These shades come down from the top or go up from the bottom which is nice. Also they shrink up to almost nothing at the top when completely up.

Not sure what Ryan is doing outside, probably watching Chase run around like a lulu or something :)

Nursery Update

Things are going well with the nursery. Mom and I finished the curtains and the painting is complete. The bottom half of the wall is belverde cream and the top half is a very light blue...

Our bedding will be cottontail toile from carousel designs.com. I tried to post a picture but couldn't get it to work...
