Closet!!!
For my birthday Ryan built my closet! I was totally surprised and very excited! He even picked the color (Tiffany blue) and installed crown moulding. Now all I need is a chandelier ; ) Can't wait to move all my stuff over from the guest bedroom. Ryan is getting a "real closet" in our new house too. At our old house he was stuck in the tiny guest room closet.
Also to my surprise he had Paul the Plumber come and install our champagne bubble tub. I love it!!! I have always wanted a bubble tub, it's great!

31st Birthday!
Well, here I am on the other side of 30. It's been a good first year and ready for much more in the coming years. Pictures below are a little blurry. Don't know what is up with my camera...
We had dinner at The Lodge and it was fantastic! We've never eaten there and it was very good. I had a type of ravioli for appetizer, salmon for main course and chocolate souffle with banana shake for dessert. Ryan and Dad both had shrimp cocktail, beef wellington and cheesecake for dessert. We were all very STUFFED!

We have GRASS!!!
I am so excited to announce that our yard is done and we have grass! It is amazing to turn the corner down our street and see green as opposed to brown dirt! Chase is loving it....
Above picture is the side of our house, notice the permit still on the window : )

Side yard. Flower bed to the left will be planted this spring. It is hard to resist planting now but I know the flowers wouldn't make it even with a drip irrigation system. Now that the yard is done work is moving back inside. Hopefully soon the plumber will be there to finish out our master bath so we can have the bedroom carpet installed and move in to the master and out of the guest room. I will be updating pics often :)
Oh yeah, tomorrow is the BIG DAY for me!!!!! 31!!!!!!!!!!! Check back to my post from last year if you want to see my Surprise party hosted by Hubby.

Landscaping
Ryan has been working really hard getting our yard ready for grass. We can't wait! The above and below pictures are of our new front flower bed. Ryan used flagstone from the old house front porch. We did something similar at our old house and loved the way it looked so we thought a repeat of sorts would be nice.
Below is our new flagstone porch. It is looking really good, it is like a puzzle you have to put together....takes tons of patience!
This weekend we also worked on our side parking area.
